The Partnership Alliance Board of Directors
The Board is the “steering wheel” for Greenwood County’s “Comprehensive Economic Development,” directing and governing the work program and strategic marketing initiatives.
Each Board Investor appoints one director to serve and represent its economic development interest.
The full Board meets 6 times per year, including a 1-day annual meeting in the third quarter of each year, and a strategic mid-year meeting.
Who makes up the Executive Committee?
Officers are elected from the members of the Board of Directors, and serve on the Executive Committee. Members consist of Chair, Immediate Past Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Public and Private Sector Members, and the CEO. This group meets every month.
Board Investor
Investment Amount: $16,500 per year for 4 years
Your company representative…
- is appointed as a voting member of the Board and actively participates in all Board responsibilities and initiatives as described.
- is entitled to an array of benefits for your firm - including Web site recognition with company profile, global Web-links, access to all collateral marketing materials, up-to-date economic development information, marketing specialty items/logowear, etc. - on an ongoing basis.
- has the opportunity to participate in or chair high-impact task forces and committees that help design the annual work program and determine the ultimate economic development strategy for Greenwood County.
- attends special designated events and marketing trips.
- attends special VIP receptions at major meetings, which include features such as keynote speakers.
Partner
Investment Amount: $10,000 to $16,499 per year for 4 years
Your company representative…
- attends four meetings, including the annual meeting in the first quarter and the strategic mid-year meeting.
- receives an array of benefits associated with your investment including Web site recognition with company profile, global Web-links, collateral marketing materials, Partnership Alliance updates, etc.
- has the opportunity to participate in or chair high-impact task forces and committees that help design the annual work program and determine the ultimate economic development strategy for Greenwood County.
- attends special designated events and marketing trips.
- may appoint a member to the Board of Directors if the minimum investment level is maintained by category.

Investment Amount: $5,000 to $9,999 per year for 4 years or below
