Piedmont Technical College
Piedmont Technical College, a member of the SC Technical and Comprehensive Education system, is a public two-year post-secondary institution.Piedmont Tech contributes to the economic growth and development of the largest and most diverse region of the technical college system — Abbeville, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry and Saluda counties — and to the state.
The college responds to the academic, training and public service needs of the community through excellence in teaching and educational services. Customized workforce training programs to suit your business are also available through the Center for Accelerated Technology Training (CATT).
Piedmont Tech has an open admissions policy and annually enrolls approximately 4,000 to 4,500 credit students. The college provides quality educational opportunities and accessibility for individuals with diverse backgrounds and ability levels to acquire the knowledge and skills for employment or maintenance of employment in engineering technology, industrial technology, business, health and public service or for transfer to senior colleges and universities.
