Work Ethic Certificate Program

  • This is a certificate program from Greenwood County high school students based on points earned through classroom performance, school behavior, and community involvement. Students meeting minimum point-levels are awarded Work Ethic Certification that shows employers documentation of traits consistent with a strong work ethic.

Ready To Work Credential

  • The purpose of this program is to develop a unified, basic skills certification program in the Greenwood community with a primary focus on the adult workforce as well as the emerging workforce that utilizes WorkKeys testing, computer skills, and soft skills training to prepare individuals for the workplace. Intern/Apprentice Web Portal

  • To create a web-based, online clearinghouse to match local high school students and college students with internship and experimental learning opportunities available through Greenwood employers. Connect 2 Business is a program that will be free to employers and serve that purpose. The Uppers Savannah Region will be one of four pilot regions in South Carolina to utilize Connect 2 Business.
